Since its inception in 1975, Top Screw Metal Corp. has been a globally prestigious supplier of fasteners for industrial use in Taiwan. 

The company has been capable of turning out wide-ranging special fasteners, including blind rivet nuts, bolt rivet nuts, self-driving nuts, self tapping threaded inserts, sex bolts, clinching parts, binding post, special blind rivet, security fastener, blind jack nut, welding stud and customized parts, all of which are available with a maximum inner thread size of UNC 1/2-13 or M12.

Fasteners are hardware device that mechanically joins or affixes two or more objects together. Fasteners can also be used to close a container such as a bag, a box, or an envelope and they may involve keeping together the sides of an opening of flexible material, attaching a lid to a container, etc. Fasteners used in these manners are often temporary, in that they may be fastened and unfastened repeatedly.

Furniture supplied in flat-pack form often uses cam dowels locked by cam locks, also known as conformat fasteners.

Items like a rope, string, wire, cable, chain, or plastic wrap may be used to mechanically join objects; but are not generally categorized as fasteners because they have additional common uses. Likewise, hinges and springs may join objects together, but are ordinarily not considered fasteners because their primary purpose is to allow articulation rather than rigid affixment.

Other alternative methods of joining materials include welding,taping,crimping,soldering, brazing, cementing, or the use of other adhesives.

TOP SCREW create a “working order” after receiving a purchase order. Each order will be followed by a lot number.
The production progress and quality can be mastered and tracked by the number.

  1. Product Development: TOP SCREW R&D team has deep product development abilities. TOP SCREW  can offfer a complete development program according to customer's special needs and purposes. Based on many year experiences, TOP SCREW supply most economic, practical and satisfied products to customers.
  2. Tool Die Design: We can draw tool die design charts by product drawings or samples quickly, and complete the tool production within the shortest time for grasping the market opportunity. After finishing tool dies, we will measure the dimensions. This is the first step of Quality Control. 
  3. Cold Forging: We have all kinds of high-tech multi-process cold header equipments from 1-die-2-blow to 6-die-6-blow, so we can achieve customers' deliver requests. After machine adjustment, we produce and measure all dimensions of the first sample. We only star the production when the smaples meet working order certainly. During the period of production, the parts will be examined by workers periodically, circuit inspectors per galf hour and QC staffs 4 times per day. All results shall be recorded. There is a profile projector in our work field, so we can examine tiny dimensions exactly. So many inspection processes are only for ensuring 100% perfect quality. 
  4. Second Process: Top Screw inculcates" Quality is the first" to second waorkers and asks them to offer inspection lists by lot number. We have casual conferences for improving and learning new techniques. From the inside, we give every effort to stabilize product quality. " Top Screw Tapping Dept" was founded in 2004. It's constructive on delivery control. 
  5. Delivery Inspection: This is the final procedure of QC. Top screw has "Micro Vickers Hardness Tester", " 3D Profile Projector", " Image Display Sorting Machine"..etc, so we can offer complete examine reports. 
  6. Packing: We checkcarton number, quantity and weight according to packing list strictly. Not only standard packing, we can offer custom boxes and small pack as well.

Cold Forging Production Lines...............................................

Top Screw knows “accuracy & speed” are the most important and necessary conditions for a production line. So our Forging Department uses the most precise and advanced High-Tech Multi-Process Cold Header equipments, from 1-die-2-blow to 6-die-6-blow, so we can produce various fasteners from Ø3mm. Our production is around 12 million by 8 hours per day and 24 working days per month. We trust “high quality production lines” can supply customers more competitive products by elastic delivery.

 Automatic Thread Tapping Lines.............................................

Top Screw Tapping Department was founded in 2004. We have Full Automatic Thread Tapping Machines and Second Process facilities.  These equipments used for all kinds of special screws, nuts, insert nuts and so on. Before the production, we tap some samples first, then measure and ensure the dimensions meet the working order. During the production, we change taps and tools after a fixed quantity. When the part is finished, we examine full sizes by Image Display Sorting Machine and 100% inner thread by hand.

TOP SCREW METAL CORP. MILESTONE

1975 Top Screw Metal Corporation was founded during the leaping phase of industrialization in Taiwan. Top Screw started by manufacturing semi-tubular rivets and screws for hand bags and luggage industries.
1981 Top Screw has specialized in manufacturing threaded binding posts, bolts, and rivets for bicycling, electronics, cutleries, and furniture products. This set up a strong foundation of Top Screw for future growth and expansion.
1983 Top Screw has liberated Cutlery industries in Taiwan from the grasp of Japan by introducing the male and female compression rivets, which was also rewarded for a patent.
1985  Top Screw has became well known for specializing in tubular rivets, internally threaded bolts and post with excellent quality and on-time delivery by cold heading machines in Taiwan. our Business has increased steadily.
1989 Top Screw has expanded from the Nan Yau Factory to the new Tay-ho Facility, which was twice larger than previous capacity. Top Screw products have also exported to Europe, America, the Middle East, Southeast and Northwest Asia.
1990 The monthly productions in Top Screw have exceeded 50 million pieces after high-tech multi-stroke cold heading machines were adapted.
1993

Top Screw has invested huge resource in R&D for new products, quality, and delivery timing when annual sales reached 3.5million NTD.

Blind Rivet nut has become the major product of Top Screw, and lead Top Screw entering into automotive market.

1998 Top Screw has approved by ISO-9001.
2001

Top Screw has accredited to ISO-9001:2000 again.

Top screw has adapted"" Computerised Torque and Tensile testing machine" to ensure the quality of Blind Rivet nuts.

2003 Top Screw has introduced “Self Tapping threaded Insert” in the product list. Tapping department has established in Top Screw to ensure the tapping progress, timing and quality is in control.

Sony has begun to purchase “Self-Clinching Nut” from Top Screw.

2005 Top Screw has adopted “Plating thickness testing machine” for plating quality.

Top Screw has improved Q.C. result by adopting “Micro Vicker Hardness Tester”, “3D Profile Projector” and “Image Display Sorting Machine”.

Top Screw has established cold forging department in Ho-May town, and all the cold forging facilities has moved from Tay-Ho to Ho-May.

Top Screw has introduced “Speed Pin Rivets” and “Bolt Rivet Nuts” in the product list.

2008 Top Screw was accredited to ISO14001:2004.
